Flash 17: Patient Endurance.

Romans 2:7
[7]To those who by patient persistence in well-doing [springing from piety] seek [unseen but sure] glory and honor and [the eternal blessedness of] immortality, He will give eternal life.

We live in a society where convenience reigns as a prevailing thought. Across all domains, from commerce to advancements in technology, the pursuit of convenience is evident. While convenience itself is not inherently negative, it becomes perilous when it undermines qualities like patience and endurance. These virtues, while perhaps undervalued by the worldly individual, form an essential part of the spiritual man's arsenal in the pursuit of their ultimate reward. Paul, in the book of Romans tells us that the spiritual man, through well doing, aspires for glory, honor, immortality, and eternal life. However, what empowers this individual to reach such high goals is their steadfast commitment to well doing. Thus, it is not about convenience; rather, it is about patience and endurance. They persevere in virtuous deeds even in the face of inconvenience. They persist in their actions even when nobody acknowledges them. They persevere in righteousness consistently, unwaveringly believing that the God who watches in secret will reward them openly.

And so they press on. Sure... They stumble and falter along the path. They encounter discouragement, disillusionment, fatigue in their journey, yet these challenges do not deter them. Their spirit embodies patience. They have nurtured endurance. Their resolve is unyielding. Inconveniences do not deter them... Their focus remains unwavering.

Today, I urge you, dear child of God, to be patient and unwavering in well doing. It's in your patient and unwavering faith in God which is expressed through good deeds that your reward lies. Tschuss.
